ALCOHOL
The Shingaya Sleep
Formula may increase the effects of alcohol. Do not take The Shingaya
Sleep Formula after consuming excessive quantities of alcohol. You can
safely take The Shingaya Sleep Formula after drinking moderate amounts
of alcohol.
SEDATIVES
The Shingaya Sleep
Formula may increase the effects of sedative drugs. You can safely take
The Shingaya Sleep Formula with over-the-counter sedatives including
sleep aids, antihistamines and pain relievers. Talk to your doctor
before taking The Shingaya Sleep Formula if you're currently taking
prescription drugs that may cause drowsiness including muscle relaxants,
sleep or anxiety medicines, opioid pain relievers, and seizure
medications. In most cases, The Shingaya Sleep Formula can be safely
combined with prescription sedative medications, but as a precaution you
should discuss the issue with your doctor.
THYROID MEDICATIONS
The Lemon Balm in The
Shingaya Sleep Formula may interfere with the action of prescription
thyroid hormones and other thyroid-regulating medications (including
Synthroid® [levothyroxine]). Consult a physician before taking The
Shingaya Sleep Formula if you're currently taking hormonal thyroid
medication.
INGREDIENTS:
MELATONIN
Melatonin is a natural
human hormone that influences the body's daily circadian rhythm, the
24-hour biological clock that regulates the sleep-wake cycle. As the sun
sets, our bodies begin producing melatonin, which in turn triggers
drowsiness and a desire to sleep. Taking extra melatonin before bed
amplifies this hormonal signal, producing a faster and deeper sleep.
Because melatonin works with the body's natural sleep-wake system, it
may provide a healthier, more refreshing sleep than sedative drugs.
The body produces less
melatonin with age, which may explain why older individuals often have
more difficulty sleeping. In fact, middle-aged adults with insomnia tend
to have lower melatonin levels than adults without insomnia. For this
reason, melatonin may be particularly effective in adults over 40.
Research shows that even young children, however, fall asleep more
easily after taking melatonin.

Standardized Valerian (Valeriana

clinical research demonstrates that Valerian effectively relieves

Formula. Valerian quickens sleep onset and improves sleep quality. In
fact, numerous studies show Valerian extract to be just as effective as

Valerian appears to
work by increasing the activity of GABA, a neurotransmitter that reduces
